Obsessing too much about getting to the next rung of the corporate ladder is not going to help you get to it any faster than you should. These things take time. So today you need to stop worrying so much about what will happen at your next review or if you will get that big promotion. Just focus on the day-to-day stuff. Do your best every day, and you will be rewarded -- trust in that. This new point of view will help you relax and have a better time at work.
